 | Anyone know how those pull back toy cars work? Those cars that you pull back and when u release it it goes. Ihave one and i cant open it to see how it works.
And there are also some that starts moving slow after you pull back and release and soon enough, it moves faster. Anyone knows how those work too?
Thanks. More |

| When this toy car is pulled back a few inches, it travels right across
the room. The energy must be stored quickly but released slowly. This
is achieved using two different gear trains in the same tiny gearbox -
when pulled back, the spring tightens fifteen times faster than when
it unwinds. The innovation lies in two floating gears - the axes of
gears 2 and 4 move along two slots in the gearcage depending on the
tangential forces acting on them. Explore the details of this
ingenuous mechanism. More |

 | I want to build a small dam for a science fair but I am not getting the turbine for generating electricity. But I am having a small motor that is used in electric toy cars. Just tell me how to generate electricity from it by connecting it to a home-made turbine? More |

| Hydroelectricity makes use of conversion of water's potential energy into mechanical energy to turn generators to generate electricity.
A dam stores up the potential energy of the water and the flow from the dam provides kinetic energy for turning the generator.
You need to attach paddles to the motor shaft. Cause the water to flow against the paddles, like a water wheel. Electricity will be generated by the motor. More |

 | I was at a specialty toy store the other day and they had these great cars that work without batteries. When you push the car the gears inside start moving so that when you stop pushing it still keeps going. I was wondering if anyone knows the name of who makes these toys? More |
