Not so much for a birthday or Christmas, but little gifts or things I can do for her to show how much she is loved and appreciated.

My DIL likes the little things. Here's an example of what she likes, then you think of your DIL'S personality. My DIL wants gifts that are thought about. The unusual. She likes dogs, making candy baskets, and his in the computer field. Once, I bought her a two dollar toy computer, made a two dollar candy basket (very small LOL) and put doggie choc candies in it that I had made. I sent her a card saying, You looked stressed, I did my best, Hope this brightens your day, don't know what else to say. My present looked goofy, my poem was worse, but what a kick she got out of it. I don't mind donating money , but they send you these gifts all the time and then they will make you feel guilty, by sending you a letter, stating"every time you use the labels, notepad,etc, you'll think of the .....More

just write not at this address or RTS (return to sender) or please remove my name from your mailing lists on the envelope and the letters will stop. I usually keep the labels or free gifts. I don't have enough money to donate to all the charities that send me the promos. More
