I agree with Pooky. It's only that fast in the video. In real life it takes a few minutes for an instant picture to develop. I think the second link is the camera in the video clip. It's the Polaroid I-Zone. Like Pooky said, getting the camera is easy. If you manage to find the film, it's expired (see last link).  More

I recently purchased a used polaroid instant camera at goodwill...and I don't know how to use it. Is the shutter supposed to have a strong clicking sound? Why are there three lens and the arrows on the front? What does the tree with the 4ft-infinity and all that other stuff mean?  More

It's been a while since I used one, but here's what I remember. First of all, the slider with the black and white arrows on the front is the lighten/darken control. The other slider with the infinity mark on one end and the flower symbol on the other end is the closeup setting. Slide it over to the flower picture, and an auxilary closeup lens comes over the main lens to allow the camera to focus closer. To load the camera, open the front using the latch on the side. Slide in a film pack with metal contacts down, then close the front. The motor will then eject the dark slide on the top of the film pack, which you can discard. Beyond that, just point and shoot. The big button on the side is the shutter release.  More

Polaroid cameras are available at most of your drug stores (CVS, Longs Drugs, Walgreens) or department stores like Target or Wal-mart. For drug stores, they' re usually located behind the photography counter. For department stores, go to the electronics department. It is most likely there. Good luck with finding one! By the way, the Polaroid I bought cost about $50.00 and film is about $12.00 for a box.  More

I want an instant camera, preferably one that is Polaroid, but apparently they are discontinued! So, my question is, are they ALL discontinued? I'm really interested in buying an i-zone, but i know those are definitely all gone, and they stopped making the film for those. But, I will easily settle for any other Polaroid instant camera that is NOT discontinued, or at least one where film is still available. If anyone knows where I can possibly buy one, please let me know! Thanks so much!  More

They aren't any NEW cameras being made, but there are numerous cameras out there that use the peel-apart packfilms, such as the 669 or 667 type films. Fujicolor has licensed the technology and is making packfilm for the 3-1/4x4-1/4 size and also 4x5. You can easily find a camera that uses this film on ebay, craigslist or your local thrift store. Check out the Land list for cameras that use this type of film: http://www.rwhirled.com/landlist/landhome.htm Then there are the new Fuji Instax cameras. These are new and current cameras and film manufactured by the Fujifilm company. http://www.fujifilm.com/products/instant_photo/index.html  More

For instant photos, the Polaroid 600 series is still the only game in town. You can find them at most drug/discount department stores. There are the basic plastic box models. and others that fold down for compactness, such as the 600 Ultra. Expect to pay around $1.00 per picture. http://www.target.com/gp/detail.html/sr=1-16/qid=1185525753/ref=sr_1_16/601-7088626-6452946?ie=UTF8&asin=B0001MB7S6  More
