I have a digital photo I wanted printed, taken on an Canon EOS model camera. The print is for my Dad for his Birthday, and I want it too look good. I have used the "digital printing services" in places like Jessops and Boots for other photos, however I find they often get the levels wrong, often too dark, or the colours are slighty out. So I'm looking for a professional printers who can print the photo as it looks. Any help or suggestion on places to try would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!  More

Look in your phone book and call shops offering custom printing. Tell them what you want. Take a reference print in and ask them to match it.  More

AGFA, Kodak or FujiFilm which has best print quality and the cheapest production cost? Which has the cheapest initial cost? Do you have any recommendations on any other types of Photo Printers?  More

The cameras I have seen.... Have a cord to transfer directly from the camera built in memory, if they have built in memory. The camera I have now does not. I have to have the memory card in it. Look at the camera you are thinking about, it w/ have a card or not. Look at the features. Can you expand the built in memory w/ a card?  More

Currently I use WinkFlash.com and have been pleased with the quality and pricing - until my most recent order. They offer a program where they will mail you a CD with return postage paid. You can then copy a large number of photos to the CD and mail it in for prints instead of uploading them. Do you know of any other on-line printer that offers this type of service? Even with broadband, it takes too long to upload several hundred MB of photos so I like the CD option. I may stick with winkflash, but I would like to know what other options there are. Winkflash will only let you have one CD outstanding at a time, and since they come bar-coded for your account, you can't just use your own CD. So it has taken quite some time to get all of the photos from a recent trip printed since they take up 4 CD's. Mail one in, wait for the prints, request a new CD, mail it in, wait for the prints, etc... I like the Internet printers, so I do not want to get them done in a store.  More
